About Koparan Brothers
Orhan Koparan and his brother Naylon make their living by maintaining the graves of the deceased in the company they have named Koparan Brothers. Wanting to grow their business, the brothers decide to bid for a shroud tender at the municipality one day. However, they are unaware that the winner of the tender has already been decided beforehand. During the bidding process, the Koparan brothers cause a series of incidents, making enemies in the process, and find themselves caught up in various tragicomic events.
Directed by Bilal Kalyoncu, Koparan Brothers leans on a strong ensemble — Önder Açıkbaş, İnan Ulaş Torun, Savaş Satış — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2024.
