The summer holiday has begun. Jackie suddenly decides to go visit her old love Calle in the archipelago. She persuades her friend Vanja to come along. When Calle arrives to island he is not alone. His partner Yvonne, also his boss at the fashion company owned by Yvonne's father, accompanies Calle. Who, by the way, has changed his name to Carl-Adam. Problems arise.
Directed by Kjell Jerselius, Mot härliga tider leans on a strong ensemble — Pia Green, Stig Engström, Anki Lidén — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
