About Kippkopp a fűben
Kippkopp, the chestnut child, goes for a walk in the summer meadow, where he looks for a playmate. He meets lots of bugs and animals, but no one wants to play with him. Finally he finds a friend, a ladybird, with whom he plays until it gets dark. Katalin Fabók's animated film, with its wonderful visual world, is based on the storybook Kippkopp a grass, by Veronika Marék.
Directed by Tama Mikori, Fabók Szilvia, Kippkopp a fűben leans on a strong ensemble — Tamás Keresztes, Eli Mikori — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about animation titles of 2017.
