Kiki

Kiki who has a walk-on part in a show, is in love with her director, who doesn't notice her at all. She settles into his home and causes him to break up with his lover, the star of the show; and finally manages to make him love her.

Directed by Karel Lamač, Kiki leans on a strong ensemble — Anny Ondra, Hermann Thimig, Berthe Ostyn — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1932.
