In the past decades there was many UFO sights and abduction in nord Italy, and an old prophecy know only to Vatican high prelate talk of some "living being" that must come. In "31 april 2004" some spaceships arrive in Genoa, their pilots are part of a millions years old human species, that leave the Earth eones ago. After a brief period of friendship and cultural exchange the alien take control of the city during a big football match.
Directed by Massimo Morini, Enzo Pirrone, InvaXön: Alieni In Liguria leans on a strong ensemble — Massimo Bosso, Marika Ceregini, Massimo Morini — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2004.
