Like a Good Kid

Sara (a 24-year-old girl) is supposed to babysit Matin (a 6-year-old boy) for the day, while his mother is at work. In the morning Matin tells Sara a story of a fight with his mother from the night before, this leads to a series of events through the day which will change Matin and Sara for the rest of their lives.

Directed by Arian Vazirdaftari, Like a Good Kid leans on a strong ensemble — Shadi Karamroudi, Yazdan Kokabi Saba, Negar Abedi — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2018.
