The Lady Forgets

After being mugged and taking trauma to her head, Rebecca returns home to discover that she's suffered amnesia and has lost the last two years of her life. She is haunted by dreams of a violent event and starts to remember what transpired prior to her memory loss. Rebecca frantically tries to piece together her missing past, but as the memories come into focus, it increasingly jeopardizes her safety.

Directed by Bradford May, The Lady Forgets leans on a strong ensemble — Donna Mills, Greg Evigan, Andrew Robinson — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1989.
