Photographed anamorphically on expired 16mm black and white film with a 50year old hand-cranked camera and entirely hand-processed At One Fell Swoop resembles a phantom-like film lodged amid multiple stratums of time and space.
Directed by Michael Higgins, At One Fell Swoop leans on a strong ensemble — Cillian Roche, Paddy Dean — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2015.
