Happy Go Lucky

Nunzio and Paolo have always been friends but their partnership has only produced a series of failed businesses financed by their wives, who are now threatening to throw them out of the house. The two seek redemption by opening a vegetarian restaurant until, to please a food critic on whom their destinies depend, they find themselves faced with the need to transform the place into a steakhouse. Convinced vegetarians, Nunzio and Paolo have no intention of actually cooking animals. Can vegetable steaks be passed off as real meat? It's the beginning of a spiral of hilarious events.

Directed by Stefano Anselmi, Happy Go Lucky leans on a strong ensemble — Nunzio Fabrizio Rotondo, Paolo Vita, Elisa Di Eusanio — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
