About Kokovios and Sparos in the Spider's Web
A scientist, inventor of the "ray of life", is found murdered. The perpetrators are Arachne and the inventor's former assistant, Mona. However, the two naive servants of the deceased took the blueprints of his invention with them when they left: Kokkovios and Sparos. Arachne and her gang constantly set traps to extract the coveted paper from the two fools.
Directed by Grigoris Grigoriou, Kokovios and Sparos in the Spider's Web leans on a strong ensemble — Petros Giannakos, Alekos Tzanetakos, Marina Pefani — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1967.
