Hakkunde

A long-time unemployed graduate, faced with life's pressures decides to relocate to Kaduna from Lagos when an opportunity presents itself against his sister's wishes. His expectations is however cut short and Akande must make a decision to either learn to survive or return back to failure.

Directed by Asurf Oluseyi, Hakkunde leans on a strong ensemble — Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson, Seyilaw, Ali Nuhu — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2017.
