About Mexican Selections 1 & 2
Our task was to go to the streets to find future talent in Mexican Selections 1 & 2. The idea behind this production was inspired by the spontaneity of Mexican youths and their desires to become the next porn stars. We wanted to interview them to find out their intimacies, penetrating their fantasies and desires. In each scene, you can feel the energy and passion of each candidate. After three days of casting and over 100 participants, we present our selections here.
Directed by El Diablo, Mexican Selections 1 & 2 leans on a strong ensemble — Fede, Braulio, Luis Angel — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2012.
