About Feryada Gücüm Yok
Orhan, an Arabesque singer, owns a large piece of land in a coastal town. Orhan wants to build a retirement home there. Oğuz, a wealthy businessman who owns a newspaper and a bank, Through the businesses he has established, he launders the mafia's dirty money. Oğuz wants to seize Orhan's land to build a tourist facility. He tries to negotiate with Orhan. However, unable to convince the young man, Oğuz decides to kill him. For this purpose, he hires a hitman. Orhan, who survives the hitman's attack, sets out to track down those who wanted to kill him.
Directed by Şerif Gören, Feryada Gücüm Yok leans on a strong ensemble — Orhan Gencebay, Müjde Ar, Pembe Mutlu — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1981.
