Dedi and Beno are two unemployed scholars. Incidentally there is a job opening as a morgue guard. Dedi could accept the job, but not for Beno. He's the type of cowardly guy. It was from the morgue that they met Maya, a model. Maya received an inheritance from her grandfather who had just died mysteriously. The grandfather inherited the house and a very large plantation.
Directed by Muchyar Syamas, Setannya Kok Masih Ada leans on a strong ensemble — Deddy Mahendra Desta, Zacky Zimah, Dariell Jacqueline — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2011.
