About Molester's Delivery Service
A woman gets a Buddhist statue from her dying grandfather. She doesn’t know it but it is one of three stolen statutes from India that contain a secret. When a crooked Chinese art dealer and an Indian prince find out she has it they attempt to get it for themselves with silly results.
Directed by Yojiro Takita, Molester's Delivery Service leans on a strong ensemble — Mako Takigawa, Katsuko Takahara, Marimi Inoue — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1986.
