Aslı, a young woman, is about to witness a very important phase in the country's technological development. A new game has hit the country like a bomb. The game, which is controlled by artificial intelligence, integrates with the player and exists in the same mind as them. The game, which lives with the player, understands the player, but is always a few steps ahead of the player, is actually very different from what it appears to be. The salvation of the free world lies in the hands of Aslı, who is forced to fight for her father, her friends, and her freedom. Aslı must overcome the challenges in her personal life, prove herself in a field where her gender is expected to fail, and transform into the hero who will protect freedom. Otherwise, it will be too late for everything.

Directed by Faruk Aksoy, Özgür Dünya leans on a strong ensemble — Murat Serezli, Rabia Soytürk, Gürbey İleri — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about adventure titles of 2019.
