Neither Shore Nor Dove

This is the story of a man, an activist from way back, who finds himself exiled from his own country, from his hometown of Haifa. He moves to Beirut, but he does not feel at home there. Beirut belongs to everyone. He cannot feel at home in his own country, or anywhere else.

Directed by Marc Ruchmann, Neither Shore Nor Dove leans on a strong ensemble — Tsahi Halevi, Ido Shaked, Marc Ruchmann — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2018.
