Fahrettin, Ekrem, Fikret, İzzet, Nejat, Orhan and Eşref work as truck drivers for a company. Guns are loaded into their trucks without their knowledge. They are smuggling weapons without their knowledge. The police seize the trucks in a raid. The drivers, who are informed about the raid via radio, manage to escape at the last moment. In order to prove their innocence, they decide to find the company owner, Lebanese Manukyan. On their journey, they will also come to terms with their past.

Directed by Remzi Jöntürk, Unutulmayanlar leans on a strong ensemble — Cüneyt Arkın, Fikret Hakan, Ekrem Bora — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about adventure titles of 1981.
