Talih Kuşu

Gökhan wants to be a singer. His brother Temel strives to become a soccer player. However, their father Mahmut expects his sons to become engineers and take over the factory. The two brothers cannot tell their father the truth about their lives because they are afraid of him. They deceive their father with various lies. At the same time, they are constantly competing with each other. The fact that both brothers' girlfriends become pregnant changes the course of events. When Mahmut learns the truth about his sons' lives, things become even more complicated.

Directed by Temel Gürsu, Talih Kuşu leans on a strong ensemble — Gökhan Güney, Canan Perver, Münir Özkul — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1982.
