The Fourth Wall

Teo is a young and talented actor, member of a theater company it is about to stage the play: Huis Clos (No Exit) by Jean Paul Sartre. In the audition to define the leading actors, the director uses banal criteria and leaves the boy out of the play. Considering himself as the real artist from the theater company, Teo decides to manipulate the entire group using social media to prove that the hell is other people.

Directed by Hudson Senna, The Fourth Wall leans on a strong ensemble — Tutty Mendes, Lucila Miranda Araujo, Bruna Massarelli — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2019.
