Habib Khalkoub is released from prison and marries Zari, who is a singer; Amir Khan, who is the manager of the cafe, fights with Habib to take back Zari; But he is shot by an unknown person. Habib is convicted and taken to the central prison by train. The train derails and Habib runs away. But in the newspapers is written that Habib was killed.
Directed by Azizolah Bahadori, Salam bar Eshgh leans on a strong ensemble — Mohamad Ali Fardin, Marjan, Morteza Aghili — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1974.
