About Marillion: Recital of the Script
Recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, 17th and 18th of April 1983. Originally, the video was released along with a video EP of the 'missing tracks'. The remastered DVD puts the entire show back together again. DVD extras were recorded at the Marquee club in London, in December 1982.
Directed by Martin Bell, Marillion: Recital of the Script leans on a strong ensemble — Steve Rothery, Mark Kelly, Pete Trewavas — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 1983.
