The topics covered include forced marriages, sexual assault, female genital mutilation, acid attacks, motherhood, sexuality, menstruation, education and the professional success of women.

Directed by Anastasia Mikova, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Woman leans on a strong ensemble — Aleksandra Orbeck-Nilssen, Norma Bastidas, Gabriela Melgoza — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
