This film tells a city that has been surrounded by zombies. In the city there is still a man who still lives with his baby child. His father used a remote control car to get milk and food at a convenience store. They live in an apartment. In the apartment there are a lot of zombies that make him unable to go out to look for food in the apartment.
Directed by Dai Jinyuan, The Way Home 2 leans on a strong ensemble — Zhang Xuhong, Han Yanbo, Yu Yang — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about science fiction titles of 2016.
