About Love in Taba
The three friends, Mustafa, Fakhri and Khaled, travel on a trip to Sharm el-Sheikh, where they meet three tourists, and have a sexual relationship with them to discover that the tourists are infected with AIDS, to collapse the three, and each of them, trying to escape from his family, and the escalation of events.
Directed by Ahmad Fouad, Love in Taba leans on a strong ensemble — Jala Fahmi, Hesham Abdel Hamid, Mamdouh Abdelalim — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1993.
