Stevie

'Stevie' is a coming-of-age story about a small-town tomboy who experiences romance for the first time when a young man, Justin, and his sister, Angie, move into town. She is pursued by Justin, and, with pressure from her younger, girly-girl sister, agrees to go out with him, but is surprised by the feelings she has for Angie after they all spend a night out together.

Directed by Chloe Jury-Fogel, Stevie leans on a strong ensemble — Jake Fertig, Chloe Jury-Fogel, James T. Kelly — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2014.
