Baker's apprentice Chris is sacked from his job for being late. Unwilling to give up the flat that goes with the job, he and his friends resort to squatting. Liv, a Swedish girl moves in and is soon followed by Léon the car mechanic and Rosette, a girl from the bakery.
Directed by Jacques Doillon, Touched in the Head leans on a strong ensemble — Christophe Soto, Olivier Bousquet, Roselyne Vuillaume — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1974.
