About The Good, the Bad and the Slut
The director of an all-girl's boarding school is playing at a clandestine casino which is robbed. The thieves flee and hide out in disguise at the boarding school, where the school director helps hide them in exchange for the loot. While there, the thieves fall in love with the school janitor and rescue one of the schoolgirls from her boyfriend.
Directed by José Luis Urquieta, The Good, the Bad and the Slut leans on a strong ensemble — Rafael Inclán, Rebeca Silva, Humberto Herrera — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1990.
