About The Routine
A Greek short film about autism. Living with Vangelis is not easy. His family tries not to disrupt his daily routine so that he can stick to his schedule and not change his routine. On the other hand, the intense pace of Yannis' life leaves him no room for understanding and empathy. A sudden event will be the connecting link that will unite our two heroes in a short film, reminding us that when acceptance prevails, life can become even better.
Directed by Dimitris Andjus, The Routine leans on a strong ensemble — Fotini Demiri, Giannis Granidis, Iasonas Papamatheou — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2015.
