About Adaletin Bu Mu Dünya
The film tells the story of a young girl who dreams of becoming a singer. Selda is the daughter of a middle-class family. Selda lost her father at a young age and was raised by her mother. Selda continues her university education. However, her true dream is to become a singer. Kudret, a famous singer, falls in love with Selda. Selda decides to test Kudret's love, as he is known for his womanizing ways.
Directed by Yılmaz Duru, Adaletin Bu Mu Dünya leans on a strong ensemble — Selda Bağcan, Önder Somer, Aydın Tezel — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 1971.
