In the Masurian scenery, the story of two inseparable friends - policemen who, after ostentatiously leaving the service, opens a pub and a marina by the charming lake in Morag. However, their respite from challenges does not last long - they are quickly drawn into the middle of a criminal mystery involving an attractive businesswoman. In addition, things get complicated when a young girl comes to work in their pub - the daughter of one of them, whose existence he had no idea.
Directed by Maciej Dutkiewicz, Wyzwanie leans on a strong ensemble — Eryk Lubos, Rafał Królikowski, Nel Kaczmarek — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about action titles of 2020.
