Short film consisting of sketches by the comedy troupe No Time. In the first vignette, a group of people play charades, but three of them don't seem to understand the game's conventions. Next, a guitarist sitting in the park uses the noises made by people nearby as percussion to play along with. Then a man is insulted by a basketball. In another vignette, people begin singing and dancing while covering each other with food. Finally, a fisherman learns a very unorthodox method of catching fish.
Directed by Darren Aronofsky, No Time leans on a strong ensemble — Robert Dylan Cohen, Chas Mastin, Billy Portman — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1994.
