"Emilia" is a parody of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's "Amelia". The title heroine was brought up in very specific conditions. Her parents could not transfer enough affection and knowledge to the growing child. Therefore, the girl created her own inner world in her mind, to live in complete isolation from the environment. One day, 19-year-old Emilia finds her life goal - she decides to do good around her. Unfortunately, bad luck means that people who meet on their way do not really need any help from her ...

Directed by Piotr Matwiejczyk, Emilia leans on a strong ensemble — Amelia Matwiejczyk, Aleksandra Mazoń, Dawid Antkowiak — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2005.
