Chords

Bernardo is an old Art History teacher recently retired and widowed from his wife Cecilia. Without a clear path to go on with his life, one day he runs into Víctor, a piano player and long lost love from Bernardo’s past that he hasn’t seen in almost 40 years.

Directed by Antonio de la Torre, Chords leans on a strong ensemble — Jesús Hernández, Humberto Fuentes — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2021.
