About Ape Over Love
A lonely Manhattan dog walker (Harry Reems) secretly wishes he were a gorilla, and has various sexual fantasies about making love to women while dressed as a gorilla. One day in Central Park he meets a secretary and takes her back to the apartment of his employer Mrs. Mammal, only to be surprised when Mrs. Mammal and her husband return home early.
Directed by David Sear, Ape Over Love leans on a strong ensemble — Harry Reems, Mary Stuart, Bree Anthony — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
