About And Life Is Back
The story revolves around a couple who separate from each other despite the strong love story that brought them together. They deposit their only son in a boarding school, and the parents visit him at school every week, alternating between them. One day, Alaa goes out and does not find his father waiting for him as usual. A gang kidnaps him from in front of the school. The parents report the incident to the police and search for their kidnapped son.
Directed by Nader Galal, And Life Is Back leans on a strong ensemble — Nour El-Sherif, Soheir El Morshedy, Waheid Seif — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1976.
