
In the year 1595, in a Spanish village lives the miller Diego, irresistible to the local girls. Meanwhile, a friar arrives in the village on his way to Santiago de Compostela, and is mistaken for a man sent by the Inquisition.
Directed by Mariano Ozores Puchol, Magical Witches leans on a strong ensemble — Andrés Pajares, Antonio Ozores, Ángel de Andrés — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1981.
