Young Ivanka wants to study art history, but she is disappointed when she is not accepted to university. She takes a job at a kindergarten with the possibility of completing her teacher training. At the same time, her worries increase. First, her father becomes seriously ill, then cracks appear in her relationship with her boyfriend, who has no understanding for the profession that is starting to absorb Ivanka very much. And in private, Ivanka may also have a new relationship waiting for her...

Directed by Libuše Koutná, Pojď, dáme sbohem žízni leans on a strong ensemble — Simona Postlerová, Zuzana Fišárková, Jan Pohan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
