About Dream Hunting
In 2050, a new technology is developped: it allows people to enter the dream world of someone else by using a special headwear. Detective Yu wants to use her technology in order to solve his case. Researcher Lan Xiao Wei agrees, as she thinks the case was connected to her mother's coma. As Xiao Wei linked herself to the dream world of an unconscious victim, the detective follows her in secret. The two of them experience all kinds of dangers in the dream world.
Directed by Guangting Chen, Dream Hunting leans on a strong ensemble — Chen Xiaoliang, Mi Mi, Huo Weimin — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2020.
