About Mojin: The Tomb of Ghost
The educated urban youth, led by Hu Ba Yi, went and worked in the countryside of Northeast China. To rescue the sick villager——Hua Mei, they, together with the hunter, Uncle Zhao, went to Forest and Snow Bear Cave to collect antidote. However, they were suddenly attacked by a bear, so they had to flee into the underground Weasel Mansion. They witnessed strange things and illusions happen there.
Directed by Chen Juli, Mojin: The Tomb of Ghost leans on a strong ensemble — Zhou Chengao, Sun Yali, Yang Dongqi — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about fantasy titles of 2021.
