The wife Yuko Kusumon operating a pottery store was a chastal wife without complaints even though her husband is cheated with her heart. Koji who came to the end of her uniform and started her bizarre living in Izu villa home.
Directed by Sōkichi Tomimoto, The Frolic of the Beasts leans on a strong ensemble — Ayako Wakao, Masao Mishima, Seizaburō Kawazu — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1964.
