About OL Hunter: Onna Nakase no Yubi
An office lady who works at a department store, is having an affair with her boss, but she feels empty inside. One day, while she was on her way home, she heard the sound of footsteps and felt the eyes of a stalker on her. She rushed home, but contrary to her feelings of anxiety and fear, she felt a strange joy. The next day, she went out in a bold outfit to attract her stalker.
Directed by Yukio Kitazawa, OL Hunter: Onna Nakase no Yubi leans on a strong ensemble — Tomomi Segawa, Mayumi Mochizuki, Kiyomi Okada — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1986.
