Levent, who returned to Çanakkale after years of separation, reunites with his old friends, while Zeynep, who lives in Istanbul, goes on vacation to Çanakkale at the insistence of her friends Aslı, Murat, and Engin. Engin, who tries to attract Zeynep's attention throughout the vacation, causes her to get injured while walking on the beach together. When Engin panics and flees, Levent, who is walking along the beach, finds Zeynep. This chance encounter leads to their friendship quickly turning into love.

Directed by Eyüp Dirlik, Adı Aşk leans on a strong ensemble — Mostafa Yabas, Mariam Hussein, Fati Jamali — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2018.
