One night and a wad of cash he suddenly has to come up with quick. So he and his friend Láďa have to set out on a wild Friday odyssey full of cocaine and rap. The pursuit of fame and respect in the music scene slowly transforms into a desperate and dangerous attempt not to miss out on the chance of a lifetime. In their adrenaline-fueled ride through the nighttime streets of Prague the pair of friends are caught in a time crunch, teetering between a rap career and a moral choice which threatens the lives of dozens of young people.

Directed by Adam Sedlák, Banger. leans on a strong ensemble — Adam Mišík, Marsell Bendig, Anna Prášilová Fialová — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2022.
