Prison Romance

Then the senior investigator, the wife of the Duma deputy, who does not feel love for her husband, personally undertakes for him.

Directed by Yevgeni Tatarsky, Prison Romance leans on a strong ensemble — Marina Neyolova, Aleksandr Abdulov, Yuriy Kuznetsov — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1993.
