Torch Song

Aiden, a teenager who has Klinefelter syndrome (XXY), a genetic condition where an extra X chromosome is present. The boy, through ritual and magical chants, banishes adolescence and becomes a man on his own terms – torn by and between the shortcomings of his mother and father.

Directed by Stephen Lance, Torch Song leans on a strong ensemble — Jordan Dulieu, Steve Le Marquand, Pippa Grandison — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2020.
