Facing massive unemployment, the blue-collar Dadetown residents next find yuppies moving into town to staff the local division of a big computer outfit.
Directed by Russ Hexter, Dadetown leans on a strong ensemble — Robert Wall, Edith Meeks, Bill Garrison — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about documentary titles of 1995.
