About Khel Khel Mein
A group of students from the colleges drama society decide to participate in a theatre competition taking place in Bangladesh and choose the 1971 war as their topic for the play Their idea is opposed by almost everyone but the students are determined to stick to their plan. However when they reach Bangladesh, they realize why everyone was concerned, now it is their job to change that perspective and not only win the competition but their hearts as well.
Directed by Nabeel Qureshi, Khel Khel Mein leans on a strong ensemble — Sajal Ali, Bilal Abbas Khan, Javed Sheikh — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2021.
