Vercelio came to the funeral of his mama's neighbor. His mother is going to be alone in the countryside but Vercelio needs to go back to his work in the big city, not knowing that maybe there's a life for him in the country side where he grew up.

Directed by Iván Gaona, Return leans on a strong ensemble — Silvino Duarte, Cristian Hernández, Verónica Romero — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2017.
