
In the basement of a pornographic shop in the port town, there was a secret handgun manufacturing factory. Three guns were stolen from there. His younger brother Tomo (Tsunoda) and Saki (Hayami), who lives together, dream of working at a jazz club and singing at this restaurant one day like his mother, who passed away. In her house, Tomo's friend Ryuichi (Sato) was in and out. Ryuichi takes on the task of finding three guns from a man in the world behind the scenes.
Directed by Shoji Takahashi, Kids leans on a strong ensemble — Yu Hayami, Koichi Sato, Kazuya Kosaka — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about action titles of 1985.
